Emperor penguins are one of nature’s best dads. After mothers lay their eggs, they transfer them over to the fathers, who then incubate the eggs by themselves for over 60 days, while the mothers return to the sea to look for food. Once the chick hatches, the parents take turns feeding the chick until they are strong enough to be on their own.
